Each festival holds unique significance, commemorating mythical events, honoring deities, or marking seasonal changes. For example, Diwali, the Festival of Lights, symbolizes the triumph of good over evil, with illuminated homes and sweet exchanges among loved ones. Holi, the Festival of Colors, joyfully welcomes spring with colorful splashes, symbolizing love and unity.

At the core of these festivities are pujas, acts of worship that vary in complexity and formality. They range from simple household shrine offerings to elaborate temple ceremonies. Pujas involve chanting mantras, burning incense, ringing bells, and presenting fruits, sweets, and sacred items. People perform pujas to seek blessings, express gratitude, ask for forgiveness, or seek guidance.

Beyond their religious aspects, festivals & pujas play a vital role in promoting cultural identity and social cohesion. Communities come together, disregarding age, caste, or creed, to share joy, food, and laughter.
